Kiiirrrrbyyyyyyyyy Puckett! We Love Kirby and Always Have!
Well, Twins fans, the season may have come to an end with another tough finish against the evil empire. But it was an unforgettable run - that nobody saw coming. And if you DID have them down for a 101 wins back in March, you should head to Vegas or at the very least apply as an "expert" for the next Bracket Breaker tournament, because you may have ESP.
Speaking of predicting the future, how'd you do in the Tournament? We had some great matchups, and in the end Twins Territory was pretty united. Kirby was the hands down favorite from Day 1. (Over half the fans who filled out a bracket before the tournament, picked Kirby to win it all).
In the end, Harmon was the closest to giving Kirby a tough matchup - but Kirby beat Killebrew 62-38 in the finals. Who could argue with the people's choice? We love Kirby. Always have.
Here are some other interesting insights into how people thought of their Twinniest Twins.
