Welcome, Game of Thrones fans, to the latest Bracket Breaker competition: Best Game of Thrones Character from the HBO television show. Are you ready to test your mettle and prove your ultimate ability to be RIGHT? Our analysts and G.O.T. uber-experts have been working around the clock to assess, rank, and rate each character in order to put together the most dynamic and competitive bracket board possible. Maybe YOU think you’re a more savvy and connected G.O.T. fan than all of us. Well, it’s time to find out.

We started by having G.O.T. fans worldwide vote on two “play-in” characters to complete the board. Now the match-ups are set and it’s time to play our own very special, very bracket-y version of the only game that matters, the Game of Thrones!

Fill out your personal brackets and get ready to push your picks to the finish line. Once the brackets are in we’ll start a round-by-round tournament-style battle for survival, where the world will decide who’s ultimately the best ever.  You’ll have lots of ways to get connected to the Bracket Breaker community, even a scoreboard to track your points.  We can all debate our agendas and build a case. Who, in the end, is the BEST character? And whose bracket will emerge victorious, reaping all the accolades, honor, and bragging rights of an uncontested Westerosi monarch?

You may be asking, what does BEST mean, anyway? Well, if you watch the show, you know that some characters are just...BETTER than others. Are we just voting for favorites? Or will you choose your winners based on who is literally better at playing the show’s ruthless game of ultimate power? You might believe that “best character” means the biggest badass, or the possessor of the shrewdest mind, or the one with the best claim to the throne. To some of us, “best” might mean the best-written character, or the best-acted, or the funniest character, or maybe it’s the character who is most essential to the narrative arc of the saga.

Most likely, “best” means a combination of all of those things. We’ll each decide for ourselves as we chase the greatest prize of all: BEING RIGHT.
